The day marks the unity and solidarity of the Orthoptic community around the world. It is an opportunity to celebrate the work that orthoptists do for their patients and the ophthalmic community. The International Orthoptic Association aims to support member organizations and individual orthoptists in their efforts to promote the profession and to advance their clinical expertise.
